On Friday, the 22nd of August, Zeallous Racing had its second big workshop. This year it was held at the Thornton Campus of the College of Cape Town. Willem Amoraal organized the whole thing for some of the new schools that he introduced to F1 in Schools.
It is that time of the year again and the F1 in Schools National Championships is around the corner. It will be hosted at the Kyalami Race Track in Midrand which takes place on 5 and 6 March 2009. Zeallous Racing would like to wish all the participating teams good luck. Continue Reading »

Hugo Minnaar, founder of Zeallous, just returned from Germany where he was an exchange student for 3 months. He left for Germany in October 2008. “It was the most amazing three months of my life” says Hugo. He didn’t just enjoy himself he also had lots of time to think about the future of Zeallous. “I see forward to another exciting year full of highlights, this year we will be serving the community more than ever.” Continue Reading »
During the past school holiday 4 members of Zeallous Racing (previous F1 in Schools participants from High School Stellenbosch) took part in the first ever South African Solar Challenge. Their main role was to be observers. This meant that they sat in the support vehicle behind the solar car and made note of everything that happened.
After a very successful competition hosted by College of Cape Town in co-operation with the Dept Industrial Engineering US, Team Zeallous achieved 2nd place, best car, best presentation and 2nd best team spirit. Continue Reading »
